Classroom Use
"Native Max is the No. 1 source for an authoritative perspective on the Native American community. Native Max features the best thinkers, trendsetters, fresh talent and next-generation leaders of Native-America and Canada. Native Max ignites conversation, promotes empowerment and celebrates aspiration. Native Max is the heart, the soul and the pulse of Native-America and Canada. It’s more than a magazine, it’s an evolution." Native Max would be a great magazine to add to our classroom libraries so our students have reading material that represents Aboriginal people. It could also be used as reference material when discussing a variety of issues. This type of magazine would be a good example to showcase how Aboriginal people were portrayed in the media historically and how they are portrayed now. |
